About me

Below I write about my connection with fitness, sports, and bodybuilding. I hope you can discern reasons to have some trust in the information given in my articles and videos.

My name is Chris, I'm also known as Christoforos Hionidis. I was born in the mid-'80s and later studied Business Administration, with a concentration in Management and Marketing. Fluent in English, Greek, and Russian. My experience in martial art sports, fitness, bodybuilding, research, and experimentation, started at a rather young age and never stopped. I'm here to share with you what this experience has taught me (and still does).

My connection with fitness, sports, bodybuilding, and the knowledge acquired on these topics

My family offered me a solid foundation of informational support from a professional and a medical point of view, in my early years. My father is a known athlete, trainer, a certified Physical Education Teacher, and a certified Physical Therapist. He is also a certified Master (Master of Sport of the USSR) of Freestyle wrestling and Sambo, and additionally a Bronze World Champion of Sambo at the age of 46, in 2003 in France, by competing with much younger opponents. My mother is a legitimate Medical Doctor with three specializations. Additional family members are also in the medical sector.

Since my childhood, I have had an immense interest to learn about general science, the brain, the human body, and its biology and physiology. I wanted to become a medical doctor, although later I chose not to pursue that direction. In my early teenage years, I started reading my mother's academic and medical books until I finished them while keeping all the information that I needed in my mind. But that wasn't enough for me. I began gaining as much information as I could, from various educational sources and books, with passion throughout the passing years. Tens of thousands of research papers and articles have passed through and interpreted in my mind. I give meticulous attention to detail and analyze every kind of information that I receive, based on experience and acquired information, scientific and general logic, ethics, philosophy, optimization, and personal ideology, by combining all these aspects.

In 1999, I won my first gold medal in freestyle wrestling in Greece, with a silver cup to our team. My formal training started in my first steps as a child and continued until 2002, when my father had to stop his career as a trainer, for personal reasons of choice. I didn't want to continue the formal training and a career as an athlete either, for, among other plans, I didn't want anyone else training me. The coaching with him continued throughout the years. I have kept all the Freestyle Wrestling and Sambo experience from my father's training, for me, and the desire to build my body by practicing scientifically sound bodybuilding methods started in 2003.

When I started, my weight was 52kg (116 lbs). It was a lean weight, for I never had any problems with excessive fat accumulation, because of a great metabolism and hormonal levels. Within half a year, I gained 5 kg (11 lbs) of lean muscle. Within the next months, until I closed a year, I gained an extra 4 kg (8.8 lbs). So I gained 9 kg (19.8 lbs) of muscle in just a year of practicing scientifically sound (based on my acquired knowledge, personal ideology, and experimentation) bodybuilding methods, with correct supplementation and nutrition.

My training continued until 2013. I was going to the gym each day except Saturdays & Sundays. Until 2015, my weight was about 80 kg (176.4 lbs) of lean muscle mass that I gained throughout the years of practicing bodybuilding, with correct supplementation, scientifically sound methods, and nutrition. Everything thanks to the knowledge acquired by studying the research, and my experimentation throughout the years, plus the early informational support of my family. The total gain in muscle mass until 2015 was 28 kg (61.7 lbs). I could achieve even more gains, except, many things in my life didn't allow me to pay my full attention to training, including a break from the gym for about three years. From now on though, I want to share my experience, points of view, and knowledge with you.

I have made this blog together with the Youtube channel to share everything I know, my tips, my advice, and ideology, my experience, my reviews, etc. I want everyone to be able to achieve what I have achieved by my self. I will try to write the articles in the most detailed way possible, and all of them will be unique and original.
